Azabu-Juban walking guide Part2Next, we went to search the “Kimichan statue”.
On the way I decided to walk into the street that is on the right side of the street, facing opposite from Roppongi. Then I found another interesting sign.
I can see the words “Chimney” and “Cupcake”. I wonder how they are connected.
I don’t know the origin of the name (maybe the shape?) but it was a cupcake. The surrounding was soft like a tube cake, and a mix of fresh cream and custard cream was inside. Rough sugar was placed on the bottom of the cupcake and that seemed like another point to enjoy. There were other types but we had the plane. I liked this cupcake so I might come again.

Kichijoji walking guide Part2Now we are back towards in front of the station. This is the back street of Coppice Kichijoji store. There is a cute and fashionable light post.
We are now at Harmonica Yokocyo; a place we strongly recommend going to if you come to Kichijoji. This is the place that still has the old fashioned scenery of Kichijoji, and for those who come here for the first time must feel a nostalgic feeling.

Kichijoji walking guide Part1Kichijoji is located in Tokyo Musashino city as Kichijoji station as its center, and includes the town around it.
Because it is very easily accessed being able to go to Shinjuku/Shibuya by one train, a number of students come together also known as “The town for college students”. We took a stroll in Kichijoji that is evolving as the “The town for college students” as it as the same time protects its old fashioned landscape.
