Burned Totoro’s House became a park

A house and backyard that introduced as “Totoro’s House” by director, Hayao Miyazaki, had been popular among its community has burned down last year.  And from 25^th of July 2010, it reopens as a park with image of the movie “Totoro”.  Director Miyazaki provided the park’s image sketch after he noticed that the house has burned down.

Shigeru Mizuki 88^th Birthday Exhibition

Shigeru Mizuki a comic writer reached to 60^th year anniversary of drawing works in 2010.  To commemorate veteran, large-scale exhibition, “Shigeru Mizuki 88^th Birthday Ge-Ge-Ge Show” will be held at Matsuya Ginza, a department store in Ginza, from August 11^th.  In the exhibition, mainly on his masterpieces (“Kappa no Sanpei”, “Ge-Ge-Ge no Kitaro”, and “Akuma kun”), early works to the latest works of about 100 items will be exhibited.  Also, “Kitaro Café” which sells original ice cream will open.
