Shigeru Mizuki 88^th Birthday Exhibition

Shigeru Mizuki a comic writer reached to 60^th year anniversary of drawing works in 2010.  To commemorate veteran, large-scale exhibition, “Shigeru Mizuki 88^th Birthday Ge-Ge-Ge Show” will be held at Matsuya Ginza, a department store in Ginza, from August 11^th.  In the exhibition, mainly on his masterpieces (“Kappa no Sanpei”, “Ge-Ge-Ge no Kitaro”, and “Akuma kun”), early works to the latest works of about 100 items will be exhibited.  Also, “Kitaro Café” which sells original ice cream will open.

“K-ON” shows up in Akasaka

At event of “Akasaka Big Bang” in Akasaka Sacas, “K-ON” will exhibit the booth.  In this booth, live event costumes from 2009 Yokohama Live will be exhibited, and also, original goods that only you can get at this event will be sold.

Poke’mon Exhibition in Akihabara

From 13^th of July, “Poke’mon Diamond and Pearl the movie King of Mirage Zoloark Exhibition” is started at Akihabara UDX 4^th floor Tokyo Anime Center.  The exhibition mainly introducing latest movie and new Poke’mon “Zoloa” and “Zoloark”, and also the show introducing new Nintendo DS game “Poke’mon Black” and “Poke’mon White”.  Addition to that, poke’mon goods are available at the show.

The Galaxy Express 999

From August 1^st, “The Galaxy Express 999 in Chichibu” will be held.  An event of “The Galaxy Express 999 Stamp Rally” that selects a Chichibu region as a world of Galaxy Express 999 is scheduled, and also on August 31^st, for last day of summer vacation, special event will be held such as “The Galaxy Express 999 Design Train” and “SL Galaxy Express 999”.  Addition to it, author of the work, Reiji Matsumoto will have a talk show.  Characters figure exhibition will be held too.
