Komagata Dozeu is a long-established store of Asakusa, located near Asakusa station. It is a loach restaurant running from 1801. Until about a decade ago, loach was eaten regularly in Japan, however, we hardly see them as a dish at home anymore.
There will be a long line in front of the shop of worshippers of Asakusa temple on the weekends.

Three voice actors, Kana Asumi, Adusa Kataoka and Sayuri Hara, formed super point-blank range idol group “LISP”. LISP’s concept is “connect with you”, so that they always carry laptop PC, and use Twitter, blog, and internet radio to “connect with fans everyday”.
Their debut event “DIVE Ⅱ LISP SUMMIT –Hajimalisp-“[coined word of “Hajimari” (Start) and their group name LISP] will be on September 23rd at Shinagawa Stella Ball in Tokyo. 1,000 randomly fans will picked from the free fan club, “Familisp”, and invited to the live.

Going back the Denbouin Street, you will reach Asakusa Temple. Asakusa Temple has the most worshippers in Japan, with 3 to 4 million people visiting over a year. It is known as the oldest shrine in Tokyo and the five-story pagoda that lights up during the night has different appearance.

Hozomon (Ninoumon)

There are straw sandals hanging on the both side of the gate. Straw sandals signify the power of Nio. It is said that the devil will be surprised knowing the god that wears the sandals this big is protecting this shrine and leave.

The typical tourist spot in Japan, “Asakusa” is a place where you can feel the traditional Edo style (shitamachi) and see many interesting things.
We will start with Kaminarimon, go around Nakamise Street, visit Asakusa shrine, and lastly go to Kappabashi Street. We will introduce the interesting Asakusa walking course.
Your trip will start from the Kaminarimon. This Kaminarimon is the front gate to any tourist not only from Japan but from abroad too.
You won’t miss the huge lantern that weighs 500kg.
