Speaking of Kanazawa’s tea the boucha is famous. Boucha is a tea that is drank on a daily basis in the housing and work place of Kanazawa. Within the teas the Maruhachi made Kaga-boucha has the most soft scent and is a Kanazawa representative tea brand that is cherished and given to the emperor.

At Sabou Isshou as the Maruhachi antenna shop you can enjoy the Maruhachi made tea within the store. The store is located in the Higashi chayamachi.

This is the refined green tea and shiratama zenzai. The refined green tea’s mellowness goes well with the Japanese confectionary.

Inside of the store it is a slow moody calming atmosphere that is easy to relax in.

From the store, we received a boucha pack for “if we have the time”. Furthermore, in addition to enjoy our second cup, and serving us hot water for refreshments, it was a very heartwarming service.
