A city where there are a lot of offices but has also Japan’s number of pleasurable streets. This time I went to walk from Azabu Juban station to Roppongi station.

First once you go out of Azabu Juban station you can see the Azabu Juban shopping street. It has about 300 years of history, and has about 300 stores both old and new; it shows the busy business. This time I had lunch at “Uokatsu”. Second helping of white rice is self service.

And now next is Roppongi Hills.
Walking towards east-west 400m, you can see the Roppingi keyaki hill street. On the edge of the gentle sloping road are stores of famous brands, restaurants of famous chefs, and fashionable cafes.

Going straight for 5 minutes, you can see the Roppongi Arena, and next to there you will see TV Asahi.

The 6 story building made of glass, and its well hole style main entrance to TV Asahi left a very strong impression. Popular TV show’s displays and goods were sold at the TV Asahi shop, there are also cafes you can enjoy sipping tea while gazing at Mori Garden. You may even meet someone famous.

The Mori garden has a lot of shade, I saw a number of people taking a lunch break there. It is a very relaxing garden, I think taking a small break here would be good.

Right next to TV Asahi is the newest building, the biggest movie theatre in the country VIRGIN TOHO CINEMAS in Roppongi hills.

The 53rd floor in Mori tower is the Mori art museum that is mainly focused on modern art, where you can enjoy young artists to a variety of genres. In the Tokyo city view there are benches and cafes, where you can enjoy the relaxing time spaciously.

Here we leave Roppongi hills and go to the national new museum.
It opens a display of many different kinds of art in 14000m2 display space, biggest in the country. The feature of this art museum is that it collects many art information. The architect Kisho Kurokawa that made the glass curtain walls of the building is beautiful.

The last place I came to was Tokyo midtown.
Here, there is a lot of green, 6 buildings, hotels, art museums, and about 130 shops and restaurants.

Because in Roppongi there are two compound buildings Roppongi hills and Tokyo midtown, you will be entertained even if you are there for the whole day.
During the day you will visit the Tokyo midtown, and art museums, and at night you will party in the streets of Roppongi that never sleeps.
