Kawasaki City FireworksKawasaki City Municipal Memorial Tamagawa Fireworks show “Fireworks soars the sky on a fall night”
With the theme based on the Tohoku Earthquake’s revival support, it is the municipal memorial Tamagawa fireworks show that was held in Kawasaki city Takatsu ward Tamagawa river bed. This year Setagaya ward announced to suspend theirs in June due to the effects from the earthquake this year. Kawasaki city decided to hold this show in autumn with the electricity situation taken into account.
The river bed in which a cool autumn breeze flows, from the evening there were many people bringing their families, and an estimate of 211,000 visitors enjoyed the fireworks.
An estimate of 4000 shots of fireworks brighten the night sky, you could hear cheers from the audience.
In the special stage there were traditional entertainment of Fukushima, Miyagi, and Iwate prefectures being introduced. In the Tohoku product displays, beef tongue, ball cognac, and goods from the affected areas were sold, and there was a long line. All profits are sent to the affected areas.
