Time has changed, now it’s time where children are hopping on the elevator to reach to the park. Yes, it is a park in the sky, where kids can play, elders can have a walk and families can have a picnic. The park locates on n the roof of Ohashi junction.

The shape of big tall Coliseum appeared in Meguroku Tokyo. The Ohashi junction is shaped as coliseum, where above has Japanese style’s garden park. The park is 7000square, with height of 24 meter, which accessible from 5th or 9th floor from the connected mansion.

Also, in total there are four different entrances and two of the entrances are accessible by the elevator.

The park is concept as Japanese style garden where has many Japanese plants such as Sakura, Ume and Momo with Japanese designed architecture. There are few benches and tables where visitors can sit and relax, and enjoy the view of Tokyo with telescope.

The place is built as junction, it shaped as Coliseum which all the cars can make a circle inside and that connects to the different lines of highways. The city development made junction connect Sango Shibuya line and Chuo Kanjyo Shinjyuku line. And in 2014, there will be Chu-o Kangyo Shinawaga line joining into the junction. It took more than 20 years to build this Ohashi junction.

The place is not only the garden there is also the vegetable fields and grape farm where people can enjoy little gardening and farming. It made the wish come true of Meguro residences voice, who wanted to keep the town where it used to have vegetable field and farms before the junction was built.

There are variety of vegetables and fruits been planted such as mini tomato, strawberries, potato, corns, green beans, asparagus and many more vegetables and fruits.

In the area of wine farm there are over 20 young trees which transferred from Yamanashi. It is currently looked after by NPO of Ohashi Area Management group. NPO members are residence of Meguro area who loves their city and hoping to produce the wine from the park in the sky. It is going to be hard to look after the grapes, since the farm is located up in the sky, where strong wind blows and hard flat concrete under the soil.

The park is open to every residential voice, which listen to the idea and suggestions from the resident. The farm is mainly planted and looked after by NPO ad also the volunteers of residence of Meguro.

The park built where the place had long history. The area was loved from every resident and many of them wanted to keep their city as an old town, however for further city development, the town has turned into the big tall junction.

The place turned from the city to big concrete junction however it provide new place for people to hang around and spends time.

Also, the park has direct access to the city library where people can rent the book and have a little reading time at the park in the sunny day.

The place turned from the city to the big junction however it still kept the memory of old Meguro city where still the place people to hang around. It sure will be the new place where residence can make new memories surrounded with plants and flowers.
