Monzen-machi of Ise Jin-gu Oharai-machi and Okage Yoko-choOharai-machi is a town built in front of Ise Grand Shrine and has flourished since then. In part of Oharai town, there is Okage Yoko-ch, which has reproduced the town of Meiji era. You can enjoy eating while walking and see special souvenirs such as lobster and Matsuzaka beef.

There are many souvenir and traditional crafts shops along Okage Yoko-cho. Buy the maneki neko items or traditional Japanese items.
After having fun at Oharai-machi and Okage Yoko-cho, go back to Ise Jin-gu or to Gekyu (Outer shrine) neat the Iseshi Station to pay a visit.
