Sapporo Maruyama Zoo had succeeded breeding polar bear which is a difficult mammal to breed by our human hands. Because it is only 10 minute walk from the subway, this zoo is easy to visit.

Sapporo Maruyama Zoo aims for higher technology of breeding to have endangered species to stay in earth.

It is 15 to 20 minute walk from Maruyama Park. It is surrounded by nature which is very nice to walk through before visiting the zoo.

You will walk through the silent world.

Snow is very beautiful with under the sun.

Sapporo Maruyama Zoo is a safe place for kids to enjoy and it also gives parents to relax.

This zoo doesn’t close in winter. So, you can go see a many animals such as giraffe even in winter.

When tiger sleeps, he is same as a cat.
